- Business Protection, Auditing, and Crisis Management
We are pleased to introduce Daria Lazareva, a lawyer with a distinctive combination of practical, academic, and international experience that enables her to deliver sophisticated legal solutions in complex and high-stakes matters.
Daria has more than 15 years of experience in criminal procedure and law enforcement, including over five years in senior and management positions. Her background encompasses hands-on investigations of economic crimes, international law enforcement cooperation, and strategic management — expertise grounded in practice rather than theory.
Daria holds a PhD in Law and the academic title of Associate Professor. She is the author of more than 30 academic and methodological publications in the fields of criminal procedure and international relations. Her work combines in-depth academic expertise with a practical understanding of how law operates in complex real-world situations.
Her professional career includes service as an investigator within Ukraine’s law enforcement system, where she specialised in economic crimes committed by organised criminal groups, followed by several years of academic and teaching experience.
Daria subsequently served as Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, where her key areas of responsibility included international information exchange, cooperation with foreign competent authorities, diplomatic and protocol matters, international technical assistance, and European integration processes.
Her educational background encompasses both Law and International Relations, enabling her to work effectively at the intersection of criminal, public, and international law and to approach complex cross-border matters from a multidisciplinary perspective. She is fluent in Ukrainian and English.
Daria’s legal expertise is not about standard solutions — it is about strategy, context, and results. Her combination of law enforcement experience, academic expertise, international cooperation, and strategic thinking reflects a modern approach to legal practice and contributes to a new standard of the legal profession.
