A Brief Overview of the Results of ETERNIX JSC’s Participation in an International Conference on International Arbitration, M&A Disputes, and Cross-Border Dispute Resolution
The event featured discussions on current trends in international arbitration, investment disputes, and cross-border business protection. Significant attention was devoted to risk assessment in M&A transactions, issues related to hidden liabilities and breaches of the duty of proper disclosure during the conclusion of agreements, as well as modern approaches to proving damages and valuing assets in complex commercial and investment arbitrations.
Separate sessions addressed the interaction between state courts and international arbitration, the use of Legal AI, the specifics of adjudicating investment disputes in the field of natural resources and subsoil use, as well as the impact of ESG standards, international investment treaties, and current geopolitical processes on the development of arbitration practice.
During the event, participants examined international experience in supporting infrastructure, energy, construction, and mining projects, as well as modern approaches to dispute resolution in high-risk jurisdictions.
The knowledge gained and practical case studies will be applied in future work involving the management of international investment projects, cross-border commercial disputes, the protection of investors’ interests, as well as the development of international legal cooperation and the integration of Ukrainian legal practice into the global legal landscape.
